Sceletium Mocktails – introducing Sceletium Tortuosum as a natural and euphorik alternative to alcohol.
(5 min read)
There is a new wave of health-conscious consumers currently surfacing in all areas of life. From plastic-free freaks filling their bounties of recycled glass jars with superfoods and ancient grains, to ‘natural high’ hippies, embodying the true essence of the plants they consume.
The most recent shift we have noticed is the lack of interest in alcohol and the increased awareness of natural mood boosters to replace alcohol in social settings.
Introducing: The Alchemy Bar
A place to play with the abundance of plants that Mother Nature has to provide.
Shamballa lifestyle sceletium mocktails
We recently had the opportunity to create an alchemy bar at Shamballa Lifestyle, in De Waterkant. Introducing customers to a range of healthy and potent sceletium mocktails.
Combining freshly squeezed juices, shots of awakening ginger, gut healing Kombucha’s, and activating cacao concoctions – all with the naturally uplifting and energising Euphorika sceletium extracts.
Creating a calming and blissful environment for people to socialise, in a sober head space. Helping to lubricate the environment and open channels of flowing connection.
Driving home? no problem, although you’re buzzing you are completely coherent and capable of driving home safely and making responsible decisions throughout the evening.
And waking up? Even better. Sceletium Tortousum is commonly used after a night of alcohol and illicit pleasures to assist in returning back to human form by boosting energy and regulating your serotonin levels.
Here are a few recipes you can try out for yourself:
(you can find our Euphorika sceletium extract in dropper bottles here – perfected for curated doses of sceletium)
- 3 teaspoons Cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon coconut blossom nectar
- 2 teaspoons rosewater (optional)
- 3/4 cup spring water
- 4mg (20 drops) sceletium tortuousum.
- 1 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 fresh shot of ginger
- 6mg (40 drops) Sceletium tortuosum
- cayenne pepper and coconut blossom sugar ( for the rim)
- Your preferred flavour of Kombucha – we recommend Tea of Life Rose Geranium or Buchu Lemon.

All mocktails are customisable with varying amounts of sceletium and we encourage you to experiment with what dose resonates with your body best.
